When our client came to M StudioHouse, the vision was clear: create a kitchen that felt as beautiful as it was functional. The goal was not simply to renovate the space, but to completely rethink how the kitchen could support the way she cooks, gathers, entertains, and lives every day.
Through a full reconfiguration of the layout, we transformed the kitchen into a highly intentional, chef-inspired space designed to maximize flow, storage, and usability while maintaining a warm and elevated aesthetic. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the custom cabinetry and specialized storage solutions to the layered lighting, rich finishes, and integrated appliances.
The final result is a kitchen that feels timeless, sophisticated, and deeply personal — balancing high-performance functionality with custom design elements that make the space feel inviting, refined, and effortlessly livable.
THE PROJECT
Bringing the vision for Via Cerritos to life required a highly collaborative and detail-driven approach from start to finish. M StudioHouse managed the design direction, material sourcing, space planning, finish selections, and coordination throughout the remodel to ensure every element worked together cohesively both aesthetically and functionally. From opening up the kitchen layout and maximizing storage opportunities to refining cabinetry dimensions and workflow, every decision was made with intentionality and long-term livability in mind.
Custom cabinetry was thoughtfully designed around the client’s daily routines, incorporating hidden appliance storage, deep functional drawers, specialized bread and produce storage with custom metal inserts, and a fully integrated coffee bar station designed to feel like a standalone furniture piece within the home. Rich green cabinetry was paired with deep oak flooring, layered ambient lighting, Rejuvenation hardware, and striking Calacatta Borghini marble to create warmth, contrast, and timeless sophistication throughout the space. Premium BlueStar appliances further elevated the kitchen’s performance and functionality, helping transform the space into a true chef-inspired environment designed for both everyday living and entertaining.
